No. The Truck Fall Prevention System is not designed to restrain or stop freight from falling off the trailer. It is designed as a personal fall prevention system, in accordance with the OSHA 1910.28 standard.

What does OSHA 1910.28 mean?

OSHA Standard 1910.28 requires the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling.

What are the straps rated for weight and break strength?

Each strap is manufacturer rated at a workload of 1,467 lbs. and a break strength of 4,400 lbs.

Is the Truck Fall Prevention System warranted against damage during loading or unloading?

No. It is not warranted against misuse and/or damage directly caused by freight and/or commercial loading equipment, such as cranes, loaders, forklifts, etc.
